Now that I’m caught up on work I’m blowing off steam on Oppo. The rest of this post qualifies as subjective horseshit, but I think most of us here will concur.

Some cars look horrid with body kits. Case in point:

Some cars look much better dressed up. Here is my case in point, a Mercedes SEC.

It’s the same car, but with tweaked moldings under the doors that make it look fantastic. This isn’t even the full AMG widebody.

Just some subtle changes make the car a completely different animal.

Body kits can look great. But they have to very closely follow the lines and design style of the vehicle they’re on. The problem is 95% of aftremarket kits do not.
